Anatomy & Physiology: Harmony's 200 hour RYT teacher training program is very focused on physical alignment. As such, this program far exceeds Yoga Alliance's requirements for Anatomy & Physiology.

Yoga Philosophy: Yoga is a system for achieving both physical and mental harmony. We will study this system in detail to understand how to apply it in our personal lives and how to lead our students toward their goals of peace and harmony.

Techniques Training: A detailed understanding of the practice is fundamental to teaching yoga safely and effectively. We will break down the most essential physical poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), and forms of meditation.
Harmony Therapeutic Yoga is accredited by Yoga Alliance to certify yoga teachers at the 200 hour RYT level of training. Upon completion of the program, students will have a full understanding of the following:

Teaching Methodology: Leading a class requires confidence that you can teach, assist and correct your students to meet their individual needs. You will learn principles of demonstration, verbal cueing, and observation to help you find and develop your personal teaching style.

Practicum: During each session, you will have the opportunity to practice teaching, observe others teaching, and assist students while others teach.

To reserve your place in class, there is an application and a $100 deposit that is a credit to your total. You may choose from one of the following fee schedules:
